What is the secret to layering, without feeling bundled up and fat?

I think it's simple if you're tall and slender. Sadly I am not.

If I wear a long sleeved top, a vest and a cardigan, I feel like the Michelin man.

So, how do short people layer it up comfortably and stylishly?

Thin layers - it is very cosy! Maybe try a thin wool layer like merino wool over a couple of thin, almost see-through tops (together they aren't see-through!).

Can you recommend any specific thin layers dexter?

Uniqlo heat tech

HHeatech are very good and warm, also Uniqlos plain longsleeve t-shirts. Most shops sell thin tops e.g. M&S, H&M, Boden.

Primark have good thin tops.
