Started a new job after years as SAHM

Dress code is smart casual. I started today but was over dressed.

I've never worn ballet shoes but want to wear them with skinny jeans and a nice top. What socks do I wear? Pop socks?? If I've got grey ballet shoes what colour socks? I'll buy a black pair of ballet shoes too.

Wear nude pop socks. Otherwise you will look like a smurf as your feet get cold.

Fake tan just from the ankle down and no socks.
