Best everyday pinky-brown lipstick?

TuttiFrutti · 24/10/2012 18:37

I'm looking for an easy-to-wear, everyday, pinky-brown lipstick. Must be moisturising, make my lips feel comfortable, and make me look like myself only better! Any suggestions?

I just got Soap And Glory The Missing Pink the other day and it's lovely. I've been searching for ages for a nice every day pink and this is definitely it. £9 which is more than I would normally spend but got it with my points. And it feels lovely on...

Check out the new Liz Earle range, its bloody amazing, there's a pinky brown for everyone - I have very pinky brown lips and the colour I use is Peony as it actually neutralises it slightly even though it's quite pink.

If I just wore lip salve it would look like I had a fairly browny lipstick on so I need the pink to brighten me a tiny bit and neutralise.

CointreauVersial · 24/10/2012 23:28

Another one suggesting Max Factor Rosewood. It's a classic.

Ample pink plush gloss from
Mac is just divine Smile

I second the MUA 11 rec. Gorgeous... and unbeatable in terms of cost.

ISingSoprano · 25/10/2012 08:19

Until recently my everyday lipstick was by Lancome (216 I think) but of course it is now discontinued - Grrrrrrrr! Anyway I have just bought Max Factor's Rosewood which is nearly as good - don't like the taste of it though.

Ultra rich lip colour from Avon in Sparkling Peach......tried it as it was on offer one time and now wear it all the time.

JaxTellerIsMyFriend · 25/10/2012 08:24

Clinique - pink spice.

Lorelilee · 25/10/2012 11:06

Can any of you MUA recommnders advise on the staying power (their eyeshadows are AMAZING)

Naghoul · 25/10/2012 11:10

I use the tinted blistex one. It doesn't last very well but the colour is lovely on me [modest] and I mainly use it for the balmy-ness :)

ZacharyQuack · 25/10/2012 11:33

Revlon colourbalm in Pink Truffle

colditz · 25/10/2012 18:59

The staying power is better than rimmel or Avon, not quite as good as revlon. They're moisturising.

Lilacliz1960 · 25/10/2012 19:03

I like Clinique's chubby stick in Graped Up. I'm not a fan of heavy lipstick but this is more of a gloss with colour.

Clinique's Bamboo Pink or Pink Cloud...

GeorginaWorsley · 25/10/2012 19:13

Bobbi Brown Brownie or Nude

isthisdirtyorclean · 25/10/2012 19:27

I like Spicy, from the Max Factor Lipfinity range. It's the only one in that range that I find really works on me - the light ones are a bit pointless, and the bolder colours fade in a horrible way, leaving a naked bit in the middle of your mouth and a bright bit round the edge. However, Spicy is the perfect browny pink and lasts really well. I apply it quite thinly and rub in, for the most natural effect.

Thread hijacking...

Tell me about MUA please. What is good? Never heard of it before...or wasn't paying attention. Off to Superdrug tomorrow to buy about 5 lipsticks. And eyeshadow on recommendation.
