Argh. Utterly failing to find a nice leather jacket for a short-arse. Help!

I've been trawling round town all day (and looked online). They're all too long in the body for me - I'm 5'4ish but have a tiny short body so everything sits nearer my hip than my waist and makes me look square.

But it is sold out in my size (12), and also not real leather, which I don't absolutely object to, but would rather have the real stuff.

I've been in Whistles, Karen Millen, Oasis, Topshop ... all over, basically. Where might I be missing? Or online places?

I saw several short ones at Zara at the weekend but they were priced at £59.99 so assuming not leather.Nice though.

If you google cropped leather jacket loads come up.

No, I don't fancy the Oasis ones this year - they are pretty shapes but too thin and plastic-y looking. I am kicking myself because, as you say remus, they had a nice one in last year and I didn't buy it.

Leather jackets are exactly the kind of item it's worth checking TK Maxx for. I got a beautiful grey one a couple of years back. All Saints are well known for their leather jackets too if you can stomach the price tag.

I think All Saints isn't great this year - usually I love it.

This one is from Mango is great quality for the price. I'm only 5'5 but have the opposite problem to you as everything in Spain where I am is too short (which is why I've rejected this one).

I'm not wild about the scrunchy sleeves on that Mango one - otherwise it is gorgeous, I just know I would fidgit with it.

Oops, posted too soon. They're out of medium on the website, but large is probably worth a try, as Mango are often on the small size.

I don't think the sleeves are really that scrunchy - look at the photo of it in brown.

I'm short of arse as well at 5"3. Have this jacket from All Saints which fits me perfectly and makes me feel vair cool everytime I wear it. About the only jacket I own that doesn't make me feel like a Borrower.
