Next relaxed skinny jeans are fab

Thought I'd share - I discovered these at the weekend and they are such a good cut, skinny enough to tuck into the banned knee high boots but not too tight or low cut. They even do petite length which is great as I am a shortarse. I've bought 2 pairs and the best thing of all is that I was able to go down a size - I can't remember the last time I got my lardy arse curves into a size 12 :)

I like the next skinny lift and shape jeans the bootcuts are just as good.

nipersvest · 24/10/2012 13:48

will take a look. my favorite jeans i have are next sexy slim leg petite but they don't seem to make that cut anymore.

SorrelForbes · 24/10/2012 13:53

They're brill aren't they? I bought some a few weeks ago (as I've been unable to track down any Gap High Rise Skinnies) and I love them! I've only been able to get them in the distressed wash as all other colours appear to be out of stock! I went down a size in them too and actually might consider going down another size when I buy my next pair as they do give quite a bit.

I tried on the lift and shape jeans but they weren't very flattering on me unfortunately.

TiredMule · 24/10/2012 14:01

Oooh-they sound good! Can you link to them please?

Iggly · 24/10/2012 14:03

I bought some but the colour faded very quickly.

Iggly I find fabric sofener is something that causes clothing to fade faster. Also washing and drying them inside out helps too.

Iggly · 24/10/2012 16:39

Thanks Little. I only washed them once and they faded loads!

Eliza22 · 24/10/2012 19:53

Can a size 14-16 look ok in (these) skinny jeans?

dexter73 · 24/10/2012 20:03

Of course you can Eliza22!

dexter73 · 24/10/2012 20:04

I have this jumper and it looks great with skinnies as it is longer at the back so covers up my bum!

SwedishEdith · 24/10/2012 20:09

I bought a white pair in the summer and also had to buy a size smaller (and think I should have bought 2 sizes smaller, in hindsight) However, they are very loose on the hips for me so I think they are cute for pears rather than apples

ThatVikRinA22 · 24/10/2012 20:46

marking place.....but do they all have those turn ups? not sure im keen on the turn ups....

SorrelForbes · 24/10/2012 21:40

They have a different colour lining so you can roll/turn them up for a different look but I leave mine rolled down.

ThatVikRinA22 · 24/10/2012 22:17

ah....might try them then.

CambridgeBlue · 25/10/2012 07:23

Eliza22 I am a size 14 (but a 12 in these) and I think they look fine on me, the cut is very flattering because it's not skintight. If in doubt just wear them with a longer top.

yy, I waxed lyrical about the white ones in the summer, and keep meaning to go back and get another pair in a darker colour but wasn't sure if they were still the same cut and comfortable material

I love them...what colours are there ? In the summer they had white and this funny banana shade I didn't like

Eliza22 · 25/10/2012 22:44

Ooh, might try then!

Just got back from New York for my birthday. Photos of me in boot cut Esprit jeans. NOT good.

Will have a look Smile

Eliza22 · 26/10/2012 14:43

Eliza22 · 26/10/2012 14:43

Skinnies, that is!

Eliza22 · 06/11/2012 12:41

Mine were £28 but wearing with my knee highs and really comfy.

Got into the 14!

Thanks!

Eliza22 · 06/11/2012 16:25

God, they're comfy and flattering. I always thought that the "drainpipe" style leg would emphasize my ample thighs and rear but, amazingly, they make me look a bit leaner!

Should say, I tried on a few different styles and it shows how daft the sizing system is. Some 14's wouldn't go up my thighs never mind any attempt to do them up. And the ones I bought are a regular length but the long 14 (too long for me) were really, really tight and uncomfortable. The same Jeans, in a 14R do up, no problem. ALL 14's!! Confused
