any ideas?

i have heard about cashmere tracksuits, they sound amazing ly comfy but surely v v impractical if you can only dry clean them?

the bottoms need to be hipster / low rise ideally as am a short arse and this is the most flattering cut for me

if not cashmere then any old tracksuit material is fine as long as it fits in the comfy / stylish / flattering bracket

and am a size 8 if that helps....

please oh wise s&b ladies help me out....

A tracksuit that is stylish and flattering?

ceeveebee · 23/10/2012 21:40

What do you want it for? Exercising or lounging?
If lounging then you can get lovely loungewear from various places (hush, white company, boden, autograph at M&S)

If exercising then sweaty Betty do nice exercise clothes

OP, I'm afraid I basically came here to say what Dexter said Grin. I think when it comes to tracksuits you can get comfy and expensive but not stylish and flattering. Check out the loungwear at Hush and maybe this kind of thing from Toast. Hope this helps Smile

Not sure about track suit... but have just discovered the bamboo range from www.noballs.co.uk. I bought the leggings the other day and they feel so so soft and gorgeous. If I could, I would wrap myself in this from head to toe every day. Lush.

its for lounging and ok maybe sometimes the school run

and for flying, have got a v long flight soon and want to be comfy and still --attempt to- look good

never normally to be found recommending something from M&S they do a cashmere louging type tracksuit trouser and bottoms combo for £220 in 5 colours, it looks very cosy. If thats way off budget they also do a similar set entitled 'with cashmere' about 8% plus a small wool component in dark grey total price about £80. Depends what your budget is.

I have some cashmere jogging bottoms; they feel lovely and soft and are very comfy BUT despite being very good quality and costing an arm and a leg they have bobbled like anything and I'm worried about the prospects of them disintegrating into holes around the seams, as all of my cashmere jumpers seem to do. I would avoid - imo it isn't worth paying the extra for cashmere. I love a good lounging tracksuit I may have been known to wear a bit of Juicy but my cashmere joggers are the one pair I never wear out of the house (and rarely in the house tbh).

cathyandclaire · 24/10/2012 09:57

I echo that....I have a Juicy one (in my defence it isn't pink and there are no sparkles!) in black cashmere...it was fab, cost shed-loads and felt and looked great for 6months max-but the bum is now very very holey.
NOT worth the cash!

Baggy arse and knees in cashmere bottoms

MoomieAndFreddie · 24/10/2012 15:09

thats awful that they have gone into holes so quickly Shock

perhaps i will avoid cashmere then

that bamboo stuff looks nice....
