Would anyone like to venture an opinion on these ankle boots?

I am looking for some everyday type ankle boots to wear with skinnies, not 'going out' boots. Comfy, max 6cm heel, probably black but dark brown or dark grey ok too.

I've seen these but really can't make up my mind on them.

I like this sort of thing too, but not too keen on the pale heel.

Anyone like to offer up their opinions?

First ones have a whiff of 'mum'. Second ones I believe are more 'with it' this season.

Prefer the wedge ones, the others are Mum boots.

I think the second ones, though closer in some ways to the original mum boots, are less mum than the first, which are a bit too tight on the ankle, and the heel height is a bit 'meh'.

Sorry - don't like either of them.

2nd ones much more current and less frumpy than the first.

Think Topshop have some a similar shape to your 2nd ones but with a darker heel if that helps? Here

I have these. I know that clarks may not be the trendiest brand but they are very comfy considering they have a bit of a heel. Look great with skinnies!
