Skin a mess, blackheads but flaky...any wonder products to help?

Mid 30's, skin always been ok, recently my t zone has become more congested (have always had blocked pores but noticeably more so recently) but the skin on my nose is so dehydrated its flaking off to the point it gets sore. Again, I periodically suffer with this and at the moment I'm tired and a bit rundown.

I use md formulations cleanser and an oil free moisturiser and until now was happy with the combination. Does anyone know of anything that will address that flakiness without further congesting my poor skin?????

You need alpha h liquid gold and clarins lotus oil and forever young mild salycilic peels

Do you exfoliate with either a wash cloth or a facial scrub?

Clarisonic? Got mine for Xmas and haven't got into a proper routine with it yet, but I have similar skin issues and when I've used it for 2-3 days in a row I have woken with much better skin the next day.

I also use BM advanced night solutions stuff after it so could be either that is helping, but skin is all smooth and glowy the next day.

I discovered 2 new products that both my teenage son and work buddy swear by.. Both are from the new website www.mybeautyemporium.com. One was Marilou Bio facial scrub at £7.99 .. My teenage son thinks it is the best thing he has tried and as it hasn't got any nasty chemicals in it as it is organic I was even happier.. The other product is Ginvera exfoliating gel at £22.. My young work colleague says it is truly amazing.. Worth considering..

Believe it or not my cure for a similar problem was making sure skin was well moisturised I use elemis tri enzyme wash with my clarisonic and then embryolisse moisturiser which is rich but not greasy and skin is so much smoother and less congested, I read somewhere that dehydrated / dry bits of skin get stuck in your pores and cause congestion
