Can I return Estee Lauder moisturiser that I'm allergic too?

I had used it about 10 years ago and liked it then. Now after using it for a week my skin is all red and dry patches and tight feeling. The stuff was almost £30 and I grudge not being able to use it. I got it from Debenhams - would I be able to return it??

You should be able to as long as you've still got the receipt. I did this with a Clinique product that brought my skin out in spots and they gave me my money back no quibble (was also bought from Debenhams!) HTH

Does it say hypoallergenic or anything on it?

Oh, and if you can't get a refund then Ebay it. You get amazing amounts for these things.

I don't think it says hypoallergenic - I shall look and see. If not I shall find receipt and try at the weekend to return it - tho I won't have used it for over a week and my skin will be back to normal (I hope). But good idea for ebay - thanks - good fall back option.

I would return it. I bought something from Estee Lauder a few months ago and the assistant actually said that if I didn't like it I could return it.

Estee Lauder have a policy where you can return anything you're not happy with. If you have proof of purchase debenhams will take it back, if not you will have to post it directly to estee lauder. Don't let them fob you off, it is estee lauder policy, I've returned a few things I wasn't happy with.
