I am thinking of buying a new coat, saw one I like a few days ago (no idea where exactly - thought it was H & M, sort of brown and grey stripey affair, below the hips, have just looked through website in vain, so maybe wrong about that). So back to drawing board. My spec:
I want something stylish but warm, so a coat not a jacket, ie below the hips.
probably a neutral colour but mind is open on that (already have a brown one and a navy one which still haven't fallen apart, so somethign different maybe?).
Price range - under £100, lots under hopefully.
To suit my shape - I am tallish (5'8 and a bit), busty (size 16-18 on top, more like 14 on bottom), aged 51. Colouring: fair hair. I rarely wear heels, or dresses/skirts.
Navy one above has belt which i rarely tie as it seems to sit too high for me - this is a common problem for me. Bravissimo dresses for example don't fit on my waist. I think for this reason it's a straight coat I am after.
