Traditional here with green but I do have a purple pair bought in 2010 when we had a wellie emergency!

FauxFox · 14/10/2012 10:34

I've got pink, I had green as well but sold them because the pink ones make me happy Grin

MeerkatMerkin · 14/10/2012 11:42

I've got a pair in a dark charcoal grey/silver colour, they are lovely and go with everything.

Had a purple pair but sold them as felt they looked silly with most of the stuff I wear.

Excellent wellies though, so comfy and have always kept my feet lovely and dry.

MeFour · 14/10/2012 11:43

I have old purply ones I think they're aubergine. Purple but subtler, especially under all the mud etc

seeker · 14/10/2012 11:46

Do they make them in any colour other than green? Who knew?

Meglet · 14/10/2012 11:50

I have black.

I saw a woman in white wellies the other day, they were minging. You could see all the muck up them .

whiteandyelloworchid · 14/10/2012 12:52

green

SeveredEdMcDunnough · 14/10/2012 13:07

Mine were supposed to be 'chocolate' but tbh they are grey. Dull browny grey.

They are nice and go with everything.

SeveredEdMcDunnough · 14/10/2012 13:07

I have black argyll ones too which also go with stuff.

I wouldn't get anything too bright.

cashmere · 14/10/2012 13:15

I have navy- love them.

EdithWeston · 14/10/2012 13:19

I have a classic green pair that are still going strong (since the late 1980s, I think). So green, or maybe navy. Nothing else really looks right over time.

DameFannyGallopsAtaGhost · 14/10/2012 13:26

I genuinely had no idea that wellies were supposed to go with anything but mud or dogwalking.

sandycloud · 14/10/2012 13:31

My husband bought me gold ones for a laugh. I nearly made him take them back. I get lots of comments on them. I wear them almost every day to walk the dog but they cracked badly after about 12 months. Not sure whether to get another pair considering how much they cost. Have grown quite fond of them now. They do start lots of conversations.

MedusaIsHavingABadHairDay · 14/10/2012 15:27

Mine are cerise and I love 'em! (Got them in the sales where the choice was pink or frog green.. hence pink!)

MeerkatMerkin · 14/10/2012 17:06

Mine match my dog.

The purple just felt a bit... conspicuous!

Purplemonster · 14/10/2012 17:10

Mine are purple, I love them apart from the fact that you'd think they would realise that people with tiny feet also have short legs, they're a bit too tall, which is fine except I can't walk up and down stairs in them or sit in a car or they dig into the back of my knees.

Mirage · 14/10/2012 17:17

They are terrible quality these days.If you are actually going to wear them as wellies,be warned, they'll crack and split within 12 months.I don't know anyone who buys them anymore, they go for Le Chameau, muckboots or Aigle instead.

traipsingalong · 14/10/2012 17:38

Agree with Mirage. I needed new wellies recently, and went for Barbour tall ones. About £20 cheaper than Hunters, come in grown-up colours like navy and olive, and they're a serious wellie rather than the fashion item that Hunters have become.

Bramblesinafield · 14/10/2012 18:07

I have a pair of aigles, which I bought after hearing how hunter have problems with cracking. My feet are warm and cosy and very comfy.
