I have hyperpigmentation/discoloration on my body. Has anyone had any of these treatments or products for hyperpigmenation? if so any good?
I am not sure which one to go for.
Thank you.

I've recently done Obagi nu derm but not heard of the other, so can't compare and contrast. I only did it on my forehead, as it's pretty hard core and I could cover my skin there with a fringe to hide the worst of it. It made me look sunburnt and it stung and itched a bit for a good few weeks. It did however clear up all the hyper pigmentation. I've not used it for a while now and it is creeping back again, despite me being vigilant with the SPF. nothing off the shelf will work with pigmentation, so I'd say this is the best chance you stand of improving it.

Thanks charliefox I will try the obagi nu derm. The thing is I don't think it is pigmentation caused by sun damage as I never expose that part of my body, it is always covered, so am thinking maybe it's a medical thing. I am not on any medication, but I was on the pill for 10 years, but I have been of the pill for over 10 years now.

Why don't you get your GP to have a look first? Could be fungal or something?
Worth a check I'd say.

Yes lurkingaround I was thinking about going to the Dr tomorow, could it be a fungal? I have had this problem for over 1o years.

Fungal infections can cause hypo- (less/low) or hyper pigmentation. The only way of knowing is to get your GP to have a look. It's worth looking for a reason for the problem. Might well be easy to fix. Good luck.
