My DD is almost 6. She has lots of very fine, curly hair. The back is ok looking but the sides are straighter and much finer.

I'm looking for product recommendations to help us care for it/make it look more groomed.

We put it up every day for school, but TBH when it's down it does look quite messy.

We currently use 2 in 1 kids shampoo, then a spray on, leave in conditioner. We use detangler before combing/brushing too.

Please help!

Firstly I have curly hair and I have never ever brushed it. I use body shop products for curly hair . The set will cost you £20 but on a child's hair will last a year . Wash , towel dry and use a tiny blob on damp hair . Mix it through and scrunch the curls . Diffuse or leave to dry naturally .

Thanks bish, I know brushing is a no no -I've got her a wide toothed comb but getting her to use it is another matter! I'll have a look in body shop later Smile

No probs . I used fingers . Will she do that ?

Use my fingers even! Just to tease the big tangles out .

Now you see I do the opposite. My 5 yr old has lots of fine curly hair, I brush it then spray it with water and it dries in beautiful ringlets.
