Do you buy the same pair of boots in black and brown?

I don't usually, but I ordered both colours and am seriously considering keeping both as I have never loved boots quite so much before these. They were £90 each so not cheap.

Does anyone do this?

The pictures don't do them justice, they look fab with skinny jeans!

They're not my style but if you love them then absolutely have both, I often buy things in 2/3 colours when the are comfortable and I really like them.

MacyGracy · 11/10/2012 20:26

Yes I often buy tops in several colours but never done it with shoes before! Think I will keep trying them on and decide before the returns deadline approaches Smile.

Yes I have multiples of sandals and boots in different colours. If you love them keep both.

doglover · 11/10/2012 20:34

Yes, I have Fitflop knee-length boots in both colours and also short ones in tan and black. Having found this brand, I wear them practically all the year round. A very sensible decision, in my opinion!

KatieScarlett2833 · 11/10/2012 20:40

I have 2 pairs of Ugg Kensingtons in black and brown.

Mumelie · 11/10/2012 20:50

I did once, black and dark tan Bertie button long boots, £160 a pair (gulp) but I have worn both pairs to death over the last 4 years so totally worth it. Still look as good as new now and I still love them.

Doshusallie · 11/10/2012 21:06

Link to yours mumelie?

Mumelie · 11/10/2012 21:09

Here you are Dosh Bertie Gone up by a whole £9!!!!

Doshusallie · 11/10/2012 21:12

They are lovely mum

ceebeegeebies · 11/10/2012 21:18

I did last year and got use out of both pairs. This year, I have got a gorgeous pair of Skechers biker boots in brown and really want the black ones but at £85, I just can't afford it Sad

I also often buy multiple colours of an item that is comfy/flattering etc.

noddyholder · 11/10/2012 21:18

I am thinking of doing this as have a black pair which I have really loved this year and they come in brown

Doshusallie · 11/10/2012 21:20

Waves at CB (bloss)

ceebeegeebies · 11/10/2012 21:22

Hi Dosh - why have you changed your name?? Smile

twoandfive · 11/10/2012 21:25

Yep, I do this if I find something I love. I bought two pairs of ankle boots in black and grey and get heaps of wear out of both. I find black is great but sometimes too harsh with some outfits. Also if I find a style of jeans that suits me, I buy multiple. Got to stick what suit you!

Doshusallie · 11/10/2012 22:10

Time for a change. [twirls]

Shoshe · 11/10/2012 22:30

I have the hush puppy vivianna boots on brown red and green and my knee highs in brown and black Grin

Happygirl77 · 11/10/2012 23:27

Yes, like doglover I have FitFlop boots in purple suede, black suede and brown leather. They are so fantastically comfy (and pretty funky Wink) I won't wear much else.

Let's not get onto how many pairs of summer FitFlops I own not buying loads of pairs in the sale for next year, honest

shoebun · 12/10/2012 16:01

They are fab boots, Macy! Do you mind me asking what the sizing is like? I have quite narrow feet so depending on style I take a 39 or 40 so your advice would be appreciated. Also do they come up quite narrow on the ankle? Thanks.

MacyGracy · 12/10/2012 20:37

shoebun thanks, I'm so in love with them! I am always a size 39 and they fit me perfectly. You can adjust the ankle strap by five notches, I have it in the middle as that is how they came and it fine, I am slim round the ankle and my feet are pretty average.

Wore them today and I could walk for ages in them the are so comfy!
