Quick vote - buying ankle boots at lunch time - which ones?

You have helped me endlessly with my recent cardigan dilemma so am throwing this one open too!

I am determined to stop weeks or procrastinating and buy a pair of ankle boots today...in the next 2 hours. I can decide between the 2 pairs. I will wear them with skinny jeans mainly

The Aldo ones are definitely nicer but they are much more expensive....i have tended to wear dresses and thick tights with long boots a lot in winter but have recently bought some burgundy skinnies so I am tempted to get some ankle boots too...just not sure how much I will actually wear them so can I justify the expense?

Which are most comfortable?

I really rate Aldo - I have an 8yo pair if heels from there still going strong. And my Aldo ankle boots (not those ones) are really comfy.

Looks-wise I prefer the cheaper pair. Other ones look like cheap sofa material to me! :)

Aldo ones comfier - but not by much...and not planning on walking massive distances in them.

I am all for buying a better pair that will last longer....but...will we all be wearing ankle boots in 3 years or will they revert to being 'mumsboots' again

oh....am having doubts about ankle boots anyway....maybe a few more weeks procrastinating or sticking to long boots and converse would be best

Aldo - they may be out of date in a couple of years, but stick them in your wardrobe and bring them out again in ten years time.

Try TopShop. They have some really good replicas of the Acme Pistol Boots which are £££ but lovely.

Definitely wanted brown (dont wear black at all - too pale and blonde so need to be brown or grey to go with my clothes)

They dont have to be flat, I did consider some with heels but just couldnt find any that looked trendy

Dont mind the acne pistol boots but it looks as if they are out of stock on the topshop website (in tan anyway)

Have you looked on the Zalando website? They've got load of brown and grey ankle boots.

Myneaux - if you put your size in, and the colour, the heel height and narrow the price range down, the selection shown will reduce to 200 - 300 or so. You can also put in type of heel ie platform, stiletto, wedge etc and that will reduce the selection down further. I've had a couple of pairs recently from there and been really pleased - free delivery and returns too, so no out-of-pocketedness if you order a few pairs to try.
