.....how was it for you?

Just reading another thread I've seen it either seems to be the best thing ever or a nightmare you can't wait to grow out.

Could you post a if you loved it or a if you didn't? Just interested in results of a quick poll.

Was a for me..... don't know if these silly short layers round my face will ever grow out

Hate going to the hairdressers and can't diy... just going to ignore my hair now and hope it looks good long. Lots of lippy to detract eyes from the hair.

Looks fine, saves a fortune. Need to cut ponytail at back of neck first though.

Think I definitely did it too short Has anyone done it as short as on that link and been happy?

My hair is bra strap length though.

I do the layers at the front and then like JollyJack I cut the overall length with a ponytail at the nape of the neck.

My hairs wavy which helps I think, hides a multitude of sins

I have been doing this for a about a year now and love the effect. Less is definitely more though. Even the smallest snip can make a big difference. Quite often I section off the front of my hair so and do it separately so it doesn't get too short. It's not an exact science but as I have a natural wave to my hair I think I can get away with it.

Oh and my hair is just above the shoulder so not very long.

My hair is also wavy. The last time I took about 5 inches off.
