What colour shoes/boots to wear with navy trousers please?

Please help! I have dreadfully wide (and completely flat) large feet - think off the width scale - and would like to wear navy trousers when I start my new office job in a couple of weeks. Is it OK to wear black trouser boots/shoes with navy trousers? If not, what colour/s should I be looking for please?

It's ok to,do that, very chic (despite claims to the contrary!) but personally I love a navy and tan combo..

Navy shoes seem to be notoriously to find..... im still looking (half heartedly) for a pair after about 5 years.

I wouldnt recommend black shoes, it looks as if ur trying to convince yourself and others that theyre navy.

Go for a contrasting colour - tan, or a lightish grey is lovely with navy too.

I sometimes wear navy with black, it isn't that big a deal I don't think.
Would preferably wear brown/tan/grey/beige though.
