Anyone know of a mascara that doesn't smudge?

Been using Maybelline Great lash for years-- really like the way it makes my eyelashes look but always seems to smudge after a couple of hours.
Any suggestions -- am bored with panda eyes!

it did the same for me. i don't know why it gets such rave reviews. no. 7 lash extensions and max factor more lashes are working a treat for me.

tried Maybelline Great Lash and found it rubbish esp in ght rain!
much prefer the Rimmel Extreme Definition one with a comb instead of a brush - three million times easier to apply IMO, and doesn't smudge.

Excellent advice thanks ladies. Do they make your eyelashes clump together though? Mine are very fine and if the lashes get stuck together it looks like I only have about two of them ( not a good look)

mine v fine (and blonde) too - think that's why I liked the comb better than the brush

Great off to buy some at lunch
Ps thought your eyes were black anyway Mrs Badger?

I hate Maybelline Great Last. Utterly rubbish staying power and crappy brush, the handle is too chunky too. I like the comb ones too.

I've got a brown Bourjois curling one. Only had it for about 3 weeks and already it's got that horrible liquorice smell that means mascara has gone off. I don't use it loads (prob used it about 10 times since buying it), and I don't 'pump' the brush in and out of the tube (supposed to introduce air and bacteria into the mascara formula and make it go off quicker).

Grrrr.

Shisheido? The Japanese one. Was recommended to me by a friend who is a make-up artist, does covers for magazines etc. Think it's a bit pricet, though.

I bought lancome too dinosaur, found it cloggy and smudgy. Bad use of £20...

estee lauder lash xl is fab!

Finbar · 25/03/2006 10:27

Max Factor - Masterpiece is good - no clogging. Gewtting hardto find it now - very popoular since its launch.

puff · 25/03/2006 10:47

Dior Ultimeyes - not cheap, but the best non-waterproof I have ever found. No clogging, builds lashes really well.

Amother vote for Max Factor Masterpiece from me.
