Stretchy jeans for young boys?

I really don't like jeans on children (just so uncomfortable), but ds has started asking for a pair. It seams that girls can get stretchy (more comfortable) denims (but with embelishments so I can't get them for him). The boys' denims jeans that I've seen are all rigid denim. Is there anything out there?

My 12 yo DNephew bought some today from the generation 9:15 range in new look. They are 'girls' but are just plain!

Yes, M&S do some nice Indigo jeans - they're not stretchy as such but they're soft and thin (not too thin though). They're inexpensive.

I don't know what age your ds is but I bought my dd2 (age 3) some denim leggings from H&M this week - stretchy and comfy and look more like a skinny jean. £5.99 I think. No embellishments!

H&M; lots of colours too.
