Has anybody seen any? The great ones in Primark are too long. Have seen some retro tracksuit type ones in John Lewis but they are about £139!! Running out of imagination and would appreciate any help.

it was jeans for genes today so my ds went in jeans. I asked him just now if he wanted a onesie and he shrugged. he said everyone wears them on non uniform days.

can't say i've really noticed. i did notice some six formers at the end of the summer i think, wearing animal suits. i assumed it was fancy dress costumes they had hired.

meditrina · 05/10/2012 21:27

Mine all fitted in Primarni ones. And we had a lovely time with them all wearing them to snuggle up on the sofa to watch Doctor Who together - like having toddlers again (with wisecracking rather than wailing tantrums).

Tuttutitlookslikerain · 05/10/2012 21:32

DS2 only wore how indoors and in bed. Tomorrow we are venturing to Primark to get DS some new ones. He has always liked being snuggly in bed, so they're ideal for him.

I am currently wearing a striped one in bed watching Strictly. Romance is dead and buried in our house!Grin

DS1 thinks they are awful and says we look like chavvy kangaroos!

Tuttutitlookslikerain · 05/10/2012 21:32

His not how, bloody auto correct!

MaryZed · 05/10/2012 21:35

this is ds's one (though it isn't ds). Note the baggy crotch area Grin

this is dd's - it isn't her, and she doesn't have a bump. I'm hoping a strategically placed padlock on the zip might help her not have a bump in the foreseeable future.

Mine got theirs at Christmas, and wore them almost solidly for the whole holidays.

Almostfifty · 05/10/2012 21:35

www.hugfactory.co.uk/ are very good. They rang me twice to make sure I had the one I wanted for my 16 year old son.

Wish I'd got myself one now.

tigerdriverII · 05/10/2012 21:37

Hahahahaha

You cannot be serious

mirry2 · 05/10/2012 21:39

Reminds me of my dd when she was little.

alemci · 05/10/2012 21:40

do they have pouches so you can put things in so you don't need a bag LOL - responding to the chavvy kangaroo comment - have you morphed into Skippy,

MaryZed · 05/10/2012 21:44

No, no almci, don't you know anything at all about teenage girls?

They don't take bags to discos. They stuff their phones down their bras.

Seriously Shock

meditrina · 05/10/2012 21:46

Do the tiger ones have tails?

MaryZed · 05/10/2012 21:46

Yes. Or at least they do for the first five minutes Grin

alemci · 05/10/2012 21:47

i've got 2 so i hope i do. they seem to take bags. mind you into discos a bit 80's Maryzed :)

MaryZed · 05/10/2012 21:50

meditrina · 05/10/2012 21:50

mirry2 · 05/10/2012 21:52

musttidyupmusttidyup · 05/10/2012 21:54

Celticlassie · 05/10/2012 21:54

Oh my God - I think I would wee myself laughing if any of my pupils came in in a onesie. What the hell is going on? They're bad enough on women but on men? Good Lord.

musttidyupmusttidyup · 05/10/2012 21:55

Today I have learned.

alemci · 05/10/2012 21:55

so am i Mary. i suppose at least if they don't have the bags, they don't have to dance around them

Tuttutitlookslikerain · 05/10/2012 21:57

No they don't have pouches almeci. I don't know where he got "chavvy kangaroo" from!

Ds2's had such a baggy bum, it looked like he had shat himself!

MaryZed · 05/10/2012 21:58

Yes alemci, dd takes a suitcase, practically, everywhere she goes. But in the evenings it's a phone down her bra and a tenner in her shoe Hmm

meditrina · 05/10/2012 22:00

Kangaroo onesie Grin

Celticlassie · 05/10/2012 22:02

alemci · 05/10/2012 22:09

could you imagine if you invited someone into your home and you all had one on including my 47 year old DH, it would be like your living room had morphed into a 70's childrens' tv show or somewhere far worse. it would act as a detterent to door to door salespeople.

I live in fantasy land don't I [grin}
