Long sleeve, scoop neck t shirt - where?

Whenisitmysleepytime · 05/10/2012 16:57

I need some long sleeve tshirts. A scoop neck is best as I have fairly broad shoulders - swimmer style-. My arms are also fairly muscular although the rest of me is pretty petite (size 8 top).

Any ideas?

Dotty P only have 1/2 or 3/4 sleeves.
Next ones were poor quality last year.
New look ones were too skinny in the arm.

Fat face

Fat face are pretty expensive for what they are - especially just a plain Tshirt. But I do like a lot of their stuff - just not the prices. :)

I get mine from Uniqlo.

Gap have a few at the moment and I think they are having a sale too.

CountryBelle · 05/10/2012 17:40

H and m usually have theeee best ones. They wash well, maintain their stretch and dont go baggy at the elbows! Dont seem to have as many so far this year but have a look anyway. usually about 7.99 or so!

BonnyDay · 05/10/2012 17:45

Strangely. Next. I gave up with them years ago as they shrunk. For a berry colored one ?7 quid. Was a nice quality.

The "South" brand on the Very website had got some nice ones and they do a "tall" size range too.

Boden too, I am some that are 4 yo and going strong. Worth the initial costs.

ElsieMc · 05/10/2012 17:54

Again, Next. £4 long sleeve scoop neck black top - two for £7. Kept colour, did not rub and kept shape fairly well after tons of washing. I agree though that Next quality is very variable.

bigpants103 · 05/10/2012 19:41

Primark have loads of colours in and they are scoop necked. £3.50 each and wash well.

Dollydowser · 05/10/2012 19:45

The Boden ones are lovely this year, thickish fabric, sleeves the right length, and a lovely deep scoop. TKNS gives 15% off at the moment, so £13.50. Only trouble is lack of colours, berry and blue, or stripy.

MarianForrester · 05/10/2012 19:46

Another one for h&m. I have a couple just as you describe and wish I'd bought loads more!

Disappointedbuyer · 05/10/2012 19:51

H&M

lurkingaround · 05/10/2012 20:13

Another H&M. They get it spot on sometimes.

Brycie · 05/10/2012 20:14

Asda George £4.

Whenisitmysleepytime · 05/10/2012 20:15

I can't find a long sleeve scoop on h&m website ATM.

Will have another look at next as that is v cheap!

Thanks all! :)

I am wearing a lovely one from Me&Em, it was £30 in the sale Shock but I was sick to death of buying cheap shit from Dotty Ps and seeing it bag out of shape within five washes. Not much choice of colour though.

Mewsical · 05/10/2012 20:31

h&M are great for the price but Boden are thicker and last longer with bigger scoop neck. All my h&M ones got the tiny holes at waist level whereas Boden ones haven't worn through yet.
