Need an outfit I can dress up or down!

Please help... I'm going on holiday to Disneyland Paris with DH, FIL and DC, then on the way back, DH is dropping me off for a child-free weekend so I can have a rare night out with my friends in my home town (a couple of hours from where we live now). Obviously there will be little space in our smallish hatchback for me to pack 'going out clothes' so I need to throw together an outfit that is suitable for our holiday but also looks smart enough for going out for dinner, drinks and dancing (I will have time to wash dry and iron stuff if necessary before the night out).

What kind of stuff can I wear? I am a bit clueless about clothes As a SAHM I spend my life in either jeans or denim skirts with opaques and boots. Would really appreciate suggestions - am 5ft0, size 8, reddish hair.

Skinny jeans with low boots for Disney and then same jeans with heels for night out plus a fabulous top which will fold up small? I say make the menfolk suffer luggage wise for the sake of your night out ;-)

Alternative is going for boots, jeans, jacket combo with a very plain top underneath and then buying a brilliant scarf or necklace to funk things up for your night out. I guess that it depends on what kind of night out you are planning!

I recently bought this for a night out

It looks nice glammed up and equally good with dark opaques and chunky boots

Not sure about the leather top personally, but imagine it would look great on other people. The phase 8 top is quite nice - sort of thing I wear.

I'm intrigued by the playsuit idea. Never worn one. I would definitely only wear it with opaques but am warming to the idea of getting one of those!

I imagine my clothes will take up far more space than anyone else's. I'm the only one in the family who takes more than one pair of shoes on holiday!
