What shoes/boots with these trousers please?

I've just bought these jeans from Mint Velvet and I love them. Make me feel loads more stylish than my usual denim, but I don't want to spoil the effect with the wrong shoes. What do I go for? Can't be heels as I need a practical, everyday sort of thing. Am thinking ankle boots of some sort, but really need your excellent advice, please stylish ones.

Ooh, I actually like the models ankle boots, could you perhaps locate something with a low heel? You could dress these pants up or down really, both smart and casual, so there are quite a few options.

If it was me, I would opt for low heeled chelsea boots or knee high/calf boots worn over them.
