What's the best mascara??

Normally I stick to Avon but my Avon lady moved away!!

I have bought 3 or 4 at £10 a time and haven't been impressed with any of them!!

I have really long eyelashes anyway so I just need a good basic black mascara which doesn't give you spiders eyes!!

would blinc suit you? its not really one of those ones that gives you massive black spiders legs, but it doesnt run or smudge. Its not like a standard mascara in that it 'peels' off under hot water. The cheapest samples I have found are here (you can get both an eyeliner and mascara sample for free and just pay for the £2.75 postage)

For a good basic black mascara without spider eyes, I think you'd like the original Maybelline Great Lash. It's only £4.99 (on promotion at 2 for £10) and gives really good definition. It's one of those 'cult' beauty products that's very cheap but does the job and I think a lot of top make-up artists swear by it.
