Chocolate or tan boots - which shall I choose?

I have a few pairs of boots, all black, so thought I'd go for something different this year. Looking to wear them with my jeans which are mid wash blue and a dusty green. Would you choose a chocolate snakeskin pair or a tan pair?

Im after a brown pair. Not a tan but a dark brown.

Like you I have black but fancy something different.

Think tan will look better with blue jeans.
