Winter wedding shrug type thing to go with this dress

I'm going to a wedding this weekend and I've got the dress but need something to go over it which will keep me warm. Any suggestions?

I've got a camel wool coat which I'm tempted to wear as the dress itself was rather more than I wanted to spend but I might look more like I'm going to the office instead of a wedding!

I was worried that because the dress has all the pattern in the top half that anything shrug-like would look too much but I think this would work well.
