I bought a pair today.
I am 5ft 6" and a size 14. I NEVER wear trousers or jeans and rarely leggings with tunics. This is because I a) can't stand that the low rise style dig into my marsupial pouch and what won't go IN the jeans sits atop the "waist band" and bulges out and b) I'm your typical pear shape and I thought, too big for any jeans.
I went into Fat Face today (I've never even been in one before) and tried a size 16 pair which were too big. Tried a few others and bought a pair in a 14 with a slight flare..... Slim fitting..... No bulging over the top (no, they're NOT waist high types) and suddenly I'm feeling very relaxed and casual and I can get out of my Boden and Whitestuff skirts with woolly tights occasionally. The denim is really soft too. Not "creaky" and cutting off my circulation.
I'm very pleased. I never thought the words jeans and comfy would go together! Just wanted to share.
