I'm quite excited but will I be very disappointed ? The concept sounds good but is it a glorified jumble sale?!

It's in a good area, I imagine it depends alot on a good turnout and range of sizes/ages/styles. Looking forward to it.

OK, I'll ask. What the feck is swishing???

(Imaging lines of long haired people swishing their hair in unison to music)...

Hmm

Style and Beauty - clearly not my natural environment.

Glad you asked Sick - what is "swishing"???

Cherrypie32 · 27/09/2012 15:30

Haha! The basic idea is that me and hopefully lots if others turn up in a school hall with up to 7 unwanted items of clothing. They need to be either good high street or designer, any type, and I given an amount of 'points' for their worth. It's all put out nicely and then you shop around to your points value - essentially swapping clothes. It's a charity event, I am paying £7 to go. Even if I come out with one new wearable item I will be happy.

What a good idea!

Oh right. Well, I hope you enjoy yourself :) It's a nice way to raise money for charity.
