Fossil watches...are they any good?

Just managed to find one I've always liked on the Debenhams sale, reduced to £66 instead of £95 and I went for it - but I'm not sure if it is worth the money.

I think it might have been the last one as it's saying sold out now, but if you've had one of these or similar, what do you think of them?

Is the quality alright, or are they more a fashion thing?

My DH has worn his fossil watch for the last few years and its still going strong, don't even think the battery has needed replacing yet!

I can't comment myself as don't wear a watch, but I do have a fossil handbag and its excellent quality so if the watches are as good, I'd say you got a bargain :)

Oh thankyou, that makes me feel better! I normally only let myself buy stuff if it's supposed to be really good quality - you know, it'll last, sort of thing. so this is a bit of a luxury. I've been eyeing them up for a year or two now.

I've had a handbag by them in the past and it was lovely. I love Fossil.

It's really nice, to be honest :) looks kind of tortoiseshell? It would match my glasses!

Cheshire Oaks have a fab Fossil shop there, loads of choice and ££s off rrp. I have to force myself to walk straight past haha!

Iv had my watch about 5 years now and never replaced battery etc. was pretty much their top end range though

Dh has now brought one also . I'd say it was a good buy

I've worn my fossil watch daily for over 10 years now and apart from battery replacement, I had one issue about 4 years ago and after phoning their customer services I posted it off to the repairs dept and it was fixed free of charge and returned to me within a week. Great service especially as I bought the watch in another country. I'd say go for it!!

I have got this watch. It is lovely and I have had lots of compliments, the only thing is a few of the little diamantes have fallen out. Apart from that, it's a lovely watch.

I had 2 fossil watches (1 replacement) and they both let water in :(

I like the styling of them so I was disappointed. I got a refund and went for a Skagen one instead.

Fossil are pretty decent I have one of their ceramic watches and love it to bits.

They're basically the exact same watches as Michael Kors, Armani & Marc Jacobs watches as its all the same company.
