A properly floor-length nightie. Am tall and want to waft about like a Victorian heroine...

Any ideas on where to buy such a thing? All I find in the shops are gruesome nana-nighties that only reach your ankles (am 5'7") in nasty acrylic.

Oooh, the whitenightie site has some nice things... don't like frilly or lacy, but I like this short sleeved one BUT... it's only 114cm and it has to be really loooooong, not ankle length; their longest ones are 130cm and that's still not floor-sweeping length

Got dd a lovely really light summer nightie from ifonlyif. She was ecstatic (is 9 and has very trad tastes. Took me aaaagggesss to find one that didn't have fairies or pink).

I've got a lands end flannelette nightie befitting of my mn name - proper floor length little house on the prarie job - very cosy.

I used to get ones like that in Past Times, might not be long enough for you though, they were for me but I am a short arse.

Try Herroom, they have sweeping very full nightdresses in lots of different colours, they're so soft and comfortable and gorgeous, they are from the US but they despatch quickly, hope this helps.
