Does anybody have the Toast Winter Parka?

I'm considering ordering the Toast winter parka, but am interested to know just how waterproof it is? I went in to the shop today but unfortunately they didn't have any in. They told me it is waterproof but I get the feeling they're talking light drizzle proof, not the torrential school run rain proof I need. So if any body has it would love to hear your opinions?

Wondering if it's a good or bad sign nobody appears to have one, means it'll be nice and individual, but could also mean everyone thinks it's a bit shit .

I don't have one but it looks nice...says "water resistant" though, not waterproof, so I suspect your worries about that may be justified

I ordered this last week and have sent it back. It was not as nice in reality as the pictures on the website. Did not feel like it would resist more than a shower, hood was very big and heavy so therefore impractial and sleeves very long, came over my fingertips!

Yes, I think you might be right sleep. That's good to know MrsRoger, I'm fairly small so don't want something that's going to swamp me and definitely needs to be properly waterproof. Back to the drawing board, the merrel, north face etc just really aren't my kind of thing, there must be something out there somewhere!
