What are your key A/W pieces this year?

I'm being nosy
My wardrobe is busting at the seams but I'm wanting to whittle it into shape!

Tweed Skirt
burgundy Skirt.
Warm tights ive got lots of colours
My new ankle boots :)
DarkTeal long sleeved top and also have a navy one that i love
Chunky wool knit scarves and a hat.

Also have a Tweed blazer that I have just bought that looks pretty good too : )

For me, the key AW pieces trendy items that update my basics:
Leather pencil skirt
Peplum top x 2
Chambray shirts
Boucle jackets
Black cigarette pants
Tan ankle boots

Will possibly get a pair of brocade trousers later on.

Key things might be

Black suede ankle boots
Citrus scarf
Black skinnies
Black with floral something
A new warm jacket
A stretchy black skirt

I haven't bought most of them yet, but:

• felted wool biker jacket (probably the toast one)
• flat ankle boots, yet to be found, but probably chelsea boots, lace up DM type boots or maybe ankle biker boots
• leather leggings (I WILL find some that aren't black that are actually within my budget)
• Oversized cashmere/merino sweater or sweater dress

Well, I just cleared out my wardrobe (moth related issues and general "I'm so OVER these clothes" clearout) so I'm getting new stuff (at some point) and want to do it right, get good quality that suits me and fits rather than random crap that I begrudge wearing.

• New Coat. I want something tailored, in black, that's very warm and is not polyester
• 2/3 skirts that are knee length. Maybe one pencil, one a-line and one other
• 2xpolo neck jumper for when I can't be arsed
• berry coloured round-neck jumper (I'm all about round neck jumpers this year)
• high heeled boots
• nice heels.

Ooh! I found my other skirt (possibly) whistles the burgundy lace one

The blazer was from New look!! Really good fit too and was only £35! not on their website im afraid but its the best blazer ive found, Ive been looking for about 4-5 months now at all prices and what do you know.....New look!

The tops I have are simple ones like This I have them in Navy Blue, Plum. Teal and Dark Green, I wear them with my tweed skirt, brown/black/burgundy or grey tights, a chuncky knit scarf thats brown, diamond earrings,simple but pretty make up and some times a necklace and when ever I go out like it, I look plain and simple but well put together and Im always complimented : )

Hopefully I have just invested in some DM's as I like you was on the hunt. In the end I found them in tkmaxx for a bargain £35 so that sorted my dilemma. Hasn't stopped me looking at others though.... Seems I'm never happy.

I just had my new next catalogue arrive today and I'm actually liking a fair amount of this seasons items!

I got a Melton Military coat (double breasted) in the Jigsaw sale. No idea why they'd put it in the end-of-summer sale but I'm not complaining - it is luffly, perfect fit and colour for me, and 139 quid is a good price for a wool (mix) coat. I plan to wear it until the temperature drops down to North Face levels.
