I got dressed this morning as follows:

Topshop navy silk shorts

Fine-knit Primark cherry crewneck cardigan, buttoned up &tucked into shorts

Black wide belt with gold detail

Black opaques

Black patent brogues

Zara leopard-print scarf

But now the house is FREEZING and instead of turning on the heating I am taking shelter under an emerald wool jumper from Carraig Donn

I look ridiculous, the jumper smells like the sheep it came from, but I am so warm!

Woolbeige pencil skirt, beige cotton top with matching cashmere cardi and silk scarf in hermes style on neck (not real thing as way out oy my budget) and patent black block heels. Whole look ruined by big waterproof coat when go outside though ;)

Black LK Bennett merino wool jumper, grey wide leg pants (matalan? Can't remember), black loafers.

And yes, a crappy pink cagoule when I'm outside grr

First day back at work after maternity leave. The weather is a bad omen, I feel...

My nicely thought through and easy to manage outfit of lovely black Mango jersey dress, bright red cardi and electric blue ballet pumps was rather ruined this morning by the need the wear the hideous and only previously seen when walking the screaming baby in a downpour green Trespass rain coat.

I regret not bringing cardigan to work though - heating is NOT on and it's brrrrr. My reply to request for heating was "It's only September ...."

Sorry but I have been wearing a bikini and flip flops sat in the sunshine by the pool. About to go for dinner so wedge sandles and a floaty summer dress.
Worried sick about the dogs in boarding kennels heck they going to hate me forever for putting them in them.
