Bathroom question...What do you store cotton wool in?

So I have got this whopping big bag of pleated cotton wool in the bathroom which I am using to remove my make up. And it's just sitting there on the bathroom shelf looking really unsightly. It won't fit in the bathroom cupboard, which is quite small and full of crap so what do I do with it?

Is there a clever pot that it will keep in that I don't know about yet? I bet you've all got the same wonderful storage solution but have kept it secret all these years...

Well now is the time to reveal all Grin

A jar, maybe? Plastic safer than glass, obvs.

Where do you get a plastic jar from? Glass would be a nightmare as DS and DH bound to knock it off shelf at some point (I, on the other hand, would never do such a thing, of course)

Something like this OXO Good Grips jar on Amazon

Airtight seal to keep your cotton wool dry and fresh.

SomethingOnce · 22/09/2012 17:26

And yeah, it's 13 quid, but if you can't suffer the plastic bag...

Sainsburys have some nice plastic clip jars at the minute that look a bit like the Kilner type jars. Nice and airtight too.

Well that looks clever, thank you, but suspect it's glass.

Like the fact that is flat at the back so you can put it flush against the wall so less likely to get knocked off shelf.

Think I would prefer it with the biscuits inside too, forget the cotton wool

Nope, they're plastic.

Get two and put cookies in the other one Wink

Brilliant, thanks
