Have just discovered magnetic nail polishes ...

and am very pleased with the results.

My 11yo has been asking me about these. She's convinced it turns your nails into magnets. she's not right is she?

I don't think so . I'm amazed though by how good it is - it hasn't chipped in days and looks like I've spent the afternoon in a nailbar

Which make have you used? Have seen some by loreal and Barry m. Just wondering which to try.

I have the Barry M one and it's fantastic.

How is it magnetic? I've never heard of them!

There are magnetic particles in the nail varnish and there's a magnet in the lid of the nail polish. So you paint your nails, hover the magnet over the top and voila, you get a pattern on your nails.

It really shouldcome with instructions.

Never knew about the magnet in the lid. No wonder I can't get the nice effects on dd's nails.

I think there are instructions on the side of the polish ...

I have a No 17 in grey and it gives an ikat finish.

I want some but I can't find them anywhere!!! :(

I didn't realise the pattern caps are interchangeable too
