I'm too stupid to use this mascara <grrr>

Givenchy PhenomenEyes.

I got the "extension effect" one.

It's not a wand. It has a little round ball at the end with those little mascara spikes (you know, like the new ones that aren't really like the old mascara brushes, IYSWIM). A ball???? WTF.

I've used it a few times now and the bugger is laughing at me. How in the world do you apply it?????? It's supposed to coat every lash including the tiny ones, and, ok, if I take about half an hour per eye I suppose it would...

My friend who recommended it swears by it and I'm too embarrassed to tell her I'm too dim to use it .

ditch it and get the Benefit "They're Real" mascara.

bloody fab stuff - or better yet get eyelash extensions then you dont need mascara, but if you do get extensions make sure they are decent salon or go on recommendations.

Just pissed off that I spent CDN$ 30 on this Givenchy one and it's so annoying to use . Doesn't even work particularly well.

I second the Benefit They're Real advice, my new HG mascara. Have you looked on You Tube for a video showing how to apply it? BTW I have no idea if there is one, I just thought of it when I read your post.

I think (might be making this up) that you are supposed to wiggle the little ball at root of lashes and work out to end of lashes, and repeat.

Lash Perfect - lash extensions is really what we all need! No I dont work for them, but am a recent convert and they make a massive difference to my eyes and make up routine.

That's not bad, even if you are making it up! :o

That sounds like it might work. But obviously not if you're pressed for time and really just want to do one or two swipes to look human.

I would not be without my benefit 'They're Real' mascara. And I'm an ancient, jeans and baggy jumper wearing gal!

oo, and at the weekend, House of Fraser were doing a little one free with the big one.

I think this depends on what kind of lashes you have because I hadn't really looked into this mascara as I am a bit over the whole different types of wands, but looking at the demo, it looks like a wand for the way I apply mascara because I have a load of tiny little eyelashes at the corners of my eye I always have a hard time reaching.

FFS. A mascara that's so complicated it needs a YouTube video.
