The best ones in the UK are from Polarn o Pyret, a Swedish kids clothing store. They are expensive but incredibly well made and keep their value really well - I've sold all the winter stuff I've bought there for almost as much as I paid for it on ebay.

I have a couple of discount vouchers too which is what reminded me :)

I got a fab one from next last year age 4-5 and they obviously had smaller sizes too only about £35 very snuggly and even waterproof!

I only ever buy stuff from there in the sale tbh. I got my DS's when he was that age off ebay - they're a great thing to buy 2nd hand because they never have much wear IME :)

Next have navy quilted, red, or car print. From £26-28!

I got the navy quilted from Next for my son, I really like it.

We stocked Columbia and Didricksons at my work last year. I don't have a small boy of my own so can't comment on wear from experience, but we did have parents coming back to get the next size up (both brands) for children that had grown.
