Just found this site thanks to another thread. Really like these dresses: www.peopletree.co.uk/womens/dresses/jill-blue-stripe-tunic

I'm a size 14 - recently had a baby so looking for comfy dresses to conceal baby belly and chase after toddler. 32 years old :)

What do people think of the dresses and does anyone know the fit? For some reason I was thinking maybe a size down (12) for the second dress...

Thanks!

I got a dress from there a couple of years ago and it was big. I would size down if I bought from there again. Congratulations on your new baby!

Thanks puke :) I got the feeling I should probably size down.

Love your name - have been catching Puke from ds this evening - glamourous :)

I have quite a few clothes from People Tree and find sizing can be a bit hit and miss - so would order in both sizes...hopefully someone will be along later who has tried these dresses on (I think they both look really nice)

If you do decide to order Ethical Supermarket has a sale on which include People Tree and free delivery over £40 www.ethicalsuperstore.com/category/fashion/womens/dresses/

Did you look at the size guide for measurements ? I like your choices, come back and let us know how you get on with them.

mirpuppet · 17/09/2012 20:09

I like your choices too -- especially the tunic. Do let us know how it fits.

I really like the 1st one, tempted to try it to wear with leggings

Pinkflipflop · 17/09/2012 20:15

Oooh, I love those dresses. Am 20 weeks pregnant so not possible right now but am bookmarking for the future!!

cheaperthantherapy · 17/09/2012 20:37

Thanks all :) I think I'll go with a 12 {hopeful}.
The tunic comes in a gorgeous orange too - sadly not my colour as very fair and blonde. If I had dark hair/skin i would love the orange!
I'll update when I get them :)

Their sizing is completely random.

ZuleikaJambiere · 17/09/2012 21:21

I like People Tree and find their sizes fairly true, or occasionally slightly large. They are very good at exchanging quickly if you do choose the wrong size

Abzs · 17/09/2012 22:03

I'm a an 8 in dresses and have always ordered size 8s from People Tree without a problem.

If any one is interested (and ideally lives near me), I have this top and a v-neck, sleeveless knee length dress in the same fabric going begging (similar to last season's Lora dress, but with a deeper v). Both in a size 8. I did like them a lot, but it has become very apparent that orange and pink are really not my colours especially as I get greyer and greyer and they're going in the Salvation Army collection at Tesco otherwise.

Back off from the wee squirrel dress - its mine! They are lovely clothes, aren't they? Too much choice!
