Products for spots - 11 year old.

What products are best for spotty skin. DD has spots, but I didn't get them as a teenager so don't know what she should be using.

Is there a particular brand of face wash that people recommend? I am concerned about using something harsh and abrasive on an 11 year old. Would you use a toner /clarifier?

I find regular cleansing using Liz earles cleanse and polish keeps them at bay. For flare ups a dab of sudocreme over night works wonders Grin

I would say Cleanse and Polish with a tiny bit of witch hazel on spots.

superdrug do a range for teen skin (my DD is also 11)

I get her the foaming face wash and they do a little tube of spot cream (not 100% what it's called but it's a really small tube)

really suits DD's greasy t zone skin and very affordable

IM(bitter)E I would suggest you take her to the GP and get her acne sorted out as soon as possible before it has the chance to impact on her life.

Spotty teens are an easy target for bullies.

Try cleanse and polish.

Gentle products. If you start stripping all the oil, her skin will go mental and produce loads more. Have a google of the acne.org regime
A very mild foaming cleanser, nothing astringent, or something like Lush 9-5 which is a mild cream cleanser. Sounds counterproductive but she needs to moisturise too with something oil free
