quick advice needed! wedding party today - what to wear???? Help!

going to a wedding 'celebration' lunch today - couple already married abroad and this is the reception for everyone not invited to that!

I was going to dress as if I was going to a regular wedding - but have got up to a miserable rainy day and am just not feeling very summery..

I have smart black cigarette trousers - do you think I could wear these with a floaty top and nude heels? Or is that not wedding-y enough? Bearing in mind it's not the actual wedding...

Go for the dress! It's going to brighten up soon and you'll want to look cheerful and celebratory not smart/ sleek :)

I'd go for the dress - its always great to find an excuse to wear a lovely dress! (But the other outfit does sound fine too)
