Denim shirt - how do you wear it?

So I bought a denim shirt. The material is quite fine, so not really denim, but denim colour. Is quite fitted and has metal buttons, bronze / goldish colour.
I know they're supposed to be in, but I'm not really sure how to wear it.... How do you wear yours?

TIA

I wear mine with everything but blue jeans. I like them with coloured jeans, chinos and plan to wear them with leather skinnies again this winter.

I've been thinking the same thing, but figured they would look good provided I did not relive my youth and match a denim shirt with jeans.

Leggings and ballet pump things. Or converse.

Buttoned up? Or like a cardigan? And I assume you wear it loose, not tucked in?

I would wear it like a cardi.

If it didn't look like a shapeless lump in it that is :(

Thanks all.

Not sure mine is 'heavy' enough to wear like a cardigan... hence my doubts... I'll have to try it different ways I think.

Here.

Buttoned up and not tucked in. Or undone over a white vest

MikeLitoris · 15/09/2012 22:22

Dona I love pretty much all those looks.

Grin I double denim but I'm a bit of a Status Quo throwback Blush

With daded bootcuts and mumboots . No hope for me ....

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 15/09/2012 22:27

daded that should be faded
