Has anyone seen one/bought one so far this season? I saw a lovely one on (whispers) daily mail online - a wallis 1923 one but either it has not been released yet or they have buggered it up! So if anyone has seen one I am after a fitted red number flattering to a curvaceous sort....

double breasted but beautiful
way bling
quite plain with hood

Oo er very similar to the wallis one

That 1948 one is gorgeous!

I have my eye on this too - I've seen it on and I think it looked more "red" if that makes sense.

MrsLettuce · 15/09/2012 19:09

I Need the 1938, but, I fear they are last years stock and not coming back. Really, really hope I'm wrong.

burgundy, amazing had a coat with a collar like that before, shame they didn't photograph it better. Is a most versatile thing.
plain, clean lines

Ooo thanks s and b ladies - out of those I love the wallis one, the eBay French connection one (although have possible concerns over length) and the burgundy number is also nice. I do wander if wallis will resurrect that line they really did have some fabulous pieces - very hit and miss wallis but when they do get it right done of there stuff is amazing quality and quite timeless!

Also love the Hobbs one.... Wandering of I am too busty though!

Yeah, the cross seam on the hobbs could be disastrous on a sizable frontage.

StatisticallyChallenged · 15/09/2012 19:27

I'm 5'6 and the French Cone was is just hitting my knee - I already have it in another colour. I love the Hobbs one but I'm busty too so it would be evil on my sadly :(

I have a magenta coat from Paul Smith which is virtually identical to the Wallis number. Just checked the PS site for you and this season there aren't any vivid colours so far so perhaps check eBay?
