The point of footless cable tights

Please explain to me the point of these. I am hesitating over the gold ones from Boden for my 8yr old - or will I regret this? In which case should I go for the tights? I might be being a bit fuddy fuddy here. But if it's cold enough for tights, won't her feet get cold? don't want her to make a faux pas because of me Grin

Put socks on with them? We basically use them as leggings substitutes. They are great if you have a child who grows like a weed as you get more wear out of them than footed tights.

I'm tall and I find footless tights amazing. Means I can actually walk in them without pulling them down. As DD gets older (2 at the mo) I expect I'll appreciate them for her for the same reason. Usually clothes long enough for her are way too big round the waist.

Ah, thank you. Now I see the point. Yes, growth spurts. But what socks with custard gold footless, and ballet pumps please?

I would say whatever socks your dd would like to wear with them!
