You know when you are going somwhere semi dressy but not glittery? ANd it might be cold?
what do you need?
A Going Out Jumper

thinnish of knit, close of fit (at the right bits) and a little low cut.

Do you have a Going Out Jumper?

Knitted biker jackets? Where please?

I think a going out jumper is a v good idea. I am wearing one now actually, but not going anywhere - it is dark red and buttons down the back so you can see tiny bits of whatever is underneath. It is just cotton though, with not a hint of glitter, bling or sexiness.

MrsCampbellBlack · 15/09/2012 19:26

Oasis, White Co and Toast - will dig out links

MrsCampbellBlack · 15/09/2012 19:28

white co very generously sized but lovely on

toast loved this one - neat fit with nice skinny arms. Will hope it goes in the sale as pretty £££

oasis haven't seen this in RL

Viviennemary · 15/09/2012 19:32

I've got two quite nice jumpers I got from Wallis that are suitable for say going out for meals and such. I think Wallis do quite nice knitwear. Also a long jumper. I wouldn't call them glamorous though. I'm too old for glamour. Grin But no think Joan Collins.

Hassled · 15/09/2012 19:36

Yes! Finally - I am on the ball with something.
I do have a going out jumper. It is black and short and slightly, but not in a Bev Callard way, sparkly. Not so sparkly that you couldn't wear it to a school thing. Looks good with black jeans. H&M's finest.

GobblersKnob · 15/09/2012 19:46

I have a going out jumper and wore it last night, it's from Zara and has a drop back.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 15/09/2012 19:59

Oh yes - have seen the WC one and it's gorgeous. Expensive though. Toast one yummy too but even more. Will check out the Oasis one - nice to see something in Oasis which isn't polyester or fake leather for a change!

ThisOnce · 15/09/2012 20:28

This Temperley one in John Lewis is v nice IRL

Celticlassie · 15/09/2012 20:40

I actually thought about this for going out. Must be getting old.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 15/09/2012 20:45

Nice if you suit pale colours maybe I don't

PooPooOnMars · 15/09/2012 21:32

I love a going out jumper!

TapselteerieO · 15/09/2012 21:45

I would like a sexy jumper, not too glam though, but it would have to suit my short and norky stature - so I usually end up with a boring cardigan.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 15/09/2012 21:49

I have seen one in Debenhams that I am contemplating for this purpose. Although I do like that Temperley one.

HoopDePoop · 15/09/2012 21:56

I have a Markus Lupfer job - like this but an older version without the vampire teeth -but I haven't worn it much as it just never seems appropriate for anything.

Hopefully · 15/09/2012 22:01

MrsCB where have you seen knitted bikers? Was just thinking today I need something like that.

Hopefully · 15/09/2012 22:03

Oh, have just seen links Blush Grin

MrsCampbellBlack · 16/09/2012 05:54

Hopefully - I thought of you when I tried the toast one on as knew like me you'd got lots of wear out of the linen one - would the chocolate work on you?

There was a lot of glittery knitwear in the strictly audience I noticed last night from my sofa

HugeFurryWishingStool · 16/09/2012 06:48

I could imagine this from GAP with a pleated skirt or 7/8 trousers, quite Audrey Hepburn.

BonnyDay · 16/09/2012 08:27

Sorry. I went out. Not in a jumper. In an oddly successful next top.

Anyhow. Will persuse links. Lolled at bev callard a lot.
Yes. Wheres the oasis cost. Grr

BonnyDay · 16/09/2012 08:29

I like the warehouse one. And gap but brrr arms

OP posts:
BonnyDay · 16/09/2012 08:30

The zip on bikers would make my tits look like a plate of sandwiches

OP posts:
QueenCadbury · 16/09/2012 08:37

Damn you guys. Now you've made me need a going out jumper Grin

ujjayi · 16/09/2012 08:37

The Gap one is lovely but requires slim toned arms to avoid the "two hams dangling from a butcher's hook" look.

BonnyDay · 16/09/2012 08:42

I'm
Adding this to mum boots and nice ham.

OP posts:
MrsCampbellBlack · 16/09/2012 08:44

Can't see the gap one.

I wouldn't wear the jackets done up
