What do I wear with....? MN fashion gurus needed!

OK, I have a fitted, boned pale pink halterneck top and a lovely pair of pink strappy sandals (big change for me, as I don't 'do' girly ), but I'm at a loss what to wear with them. White/pale trousers are a bit too 'footballers wives', so jeans, then? Light? Dark? HHHEEEELLLLLLPPPPPP......

Light jeans I would say

well, I think a pair of creamy linen-y wide leg trousers would look lovely actually, not footballers wivesish! Or if it's jeans I'd go for darker but with a bit of fade down the leg.

I also think a long floaty skirt would look nice with the top and sandals!

Pencil skirt? with fitted jacket?

Oooh - like the sound of the cream linen trousers. I was thinking more along the lines of tight white trousers, which would be a bit FW.

What colour of skirt would you put with the pink?

If the top is plain pink I would go for one of the patterny, ethnic-y skirts.

Or a pale denim skirt (long)?
