Where do I get thin/fine long sleeved tops for layering?

I need some thin long sleeved tops for layering this autumn but most of the ones I have seen are too thick.

Anyone know of any?

I'm on my phone so this link might not work but I got some from Comptoir Des Cotonniers while in France recently and I've now discovered they're online in the uk too...

Well I hate to utter the M-word ( Matalan) but I found some long sleeved, quite long-bodied tops there a few weeks back. V neck, very very soft, like t-shirt material but thinner. I got one in black and beige but they also had navy, pink etc. £7 a pop. I have washed them twice and they keep their shape and stay soft.

I bought some primark jobbies last year and was amazed at how much i wore them. Kept shape and colour....about £3 or something..

Must get some more.

Uniqlo Heattech might do the trick (supposed to be thermal undies but come in nice colours and look fine as tops).

these are amazing and I have worn them for years!!

Hate to stoop to profanity on S&B pages, but I get them from Next. Wafer thin long sleeved tees which last forever and can be shoved in a hot wash with buttons and zippy things but never bobble or tear. About £15 each, but no one on S&B would be seen dead going into Next.

germyrabbit · 14/09/2012 20:01

h and m have about four billion of them Grin

MrsHoarder · 14/09/2012 20:03

Another vote for H&M £7.99 each, very thin (wouldn't wear one one its own) and loads of colours.

OhSoSimple · 14/09/2012 20:08

Asos are quite good for basics, had my l/s tops for several years.

mewkins · 14/09/2012 20:20

I second the H and M modal ones. Nice and long, a bit of stretch and good neckline. Esprit has a massive selection too for 10-15 quid with free delivery

shoppingbagsundereyes · 14/09/2012 21:21

Next are selling 3 for 15 quid. I bought black, white and grey. Long, thin and a little bit of lycra

brighthair · 14/09/2012 23:17

Thanks for the Next advice - I haven't shopped there for years an there's some lovely stuff on the site

CointreauVersial · 14/09/2012 23:17

Uniqlo HeatTech.

Brilliant

WheelieBinRebel · 14/09/2012 23:19

Another vote for H&M!

I bought the primark £3 ones last year too and have worn them loads. They've kept their colour and shape well.
