If you could wear any style, what would it be?

Sometimes I would love to have that whole preppy Olivia Palmero look, sometimes go all out vintage.
This is regardless of shape/size Smile

I would love to be able to pull off the 60s mod look, Jean Seberg in particular is a style icon.

Secretly?
Mary-Kate Olsen.

IShallPracticeMyCurtsey · 13/09/2012 21:08

Olivia P always looks impeccable, I agree. She has some very lovely and interesting clothes, gorgeously styled.
So why don't I quite 'buy' her whole persona? I'm never sure.

perplexedpirate · 13/09/2012 21:23

1920s flapper straight up and down floaty dress.
Damn these curves -fat-!!

Vintage Dior (New Look era) and Chanel.
Tailored to fit, freshly dry cleaned and delivered to my bedroom daily.

I like Olivia P too. She's not my body type but I enjoy her classic looks. Like many socialites, I think her problem is that she is too manicured and doesn't take risks - no edge. You can just feel that there is a driver holding an umbrella for her at every step.

FrancesFarmer · 13/09/2012 21:32

"French girl" style as seen on Clémence Poesy etc

LovelyMarchHare · 13/09/2012 21:35

no bra
halter neck
strapless

are you detecting a theme.

That Chanel advert with Audrey thingy running around a train - she is as flat chested as the man in it and oh how I envy her.

Inyourhippyhat · 13/09/2012 21:40

Twiggy in the 60s

justbreathe · 13/09/2012 21:43

Definitely Elizabethan.. outragously large dresses with tight bodices and huge wigs

MarshaBrady · 13/09/2012 21:44

I'm not feeling it with Olivia P either. I prefer someone like Emmanuelle Alt.

But any style, would just be everything on the looks I like board. Just all that would be fab.

Nobhead · 13/09/2012 22:00

Jennifer Aniston always looks stunning. Never overdone just effortless but amazing evenwhen she is just out walking her dog she still looks great Envy.

smellylittleorange · 13/09/2012 22:33

definitely vintage more particularly silky 1930s tea dresses like Romola Garai in glorious 39 or Keira Knightley or someone but I am not waif like or delicate or even remotely porcelain !!

MrsAyrtonSenna · 13/09/2012 22:40

What I used to be able to wear before DCs!! I had a waist, flat stomach, neat bustline, toned bod with no cellulite, no bags under my eyes from lack of sleep......... to name but a few things I took for granted. Could wear pretty much anything and get away with it as tall and slim - now just tall and knackered !!!

but I still love my DCs to bits!! such is a mother's love.............

Iatemyskinnyperson · 13/09/2012 22:55

California surf chick. With cotton headscarf.

PretzelTime · 13/09/2012 23:08

Jack Sparrow style. But no dreads. It'd be nice to have a ship too.

TodaysAGoodDay · 13/09/2012 23:21

I'd wear this if I had the figure.
In reality I wear this Blush
Does this make me a bit pathetic?
