What boots shall I wear with my straight leg jeans?

Now that autumn is on the way I want to switch to boots, but what looks best with straight leg jeans?

How about some original desert boots from clarks . I have been wearing the boots with various skinny cords and jeans. I think they look fab and neat in a Audrey Hepburn kind of way !

Thanks all, I like the Dune boots, though they're a bit pricey for me. Not keen on desert boots though.

I'm looking for some good flat ankle boots to wear with straight jeans/cord as well. Can't walk drive in heels!
