Mid-rise straight leg jeans for a pear

It took me ages to find a skinny jeans that I wasn't constantly hoiking up. I found Oasis Cherry jeans from a recommendation here, but I want a pair of straight legs now for a change.

I have a bit of an aversion to paying £££ for jeans, but have realised that one expensive pair that really fit is better than two or three pairs that are almost but not quite right!

Any ideas?

I have a pair of Tommy Hillfiger straight legs that are great. Sorry I can't remember the style name off the top of my head. However I only found those by spending an hour in TK Maxx and trying on EVERYTHING that might work. 15 pairs later, success. If you have an hour though, I would recommend the TK Maxx approach.

I bought a pair of jeans from marks today . They are the £12.50 straight leg jeans in navy blue . Super duper flattering and cheap, and I got in a size 8 .. Preen ... ...I might add I'm a diesel jean wearer normally but I fancied something a bit higher on the waist as I'm still a bit squishy from my last baby .

Gap straight jeans are great, and so are their bootcuts and their skinnies... in my opinion

LaGuerta you are a braver woman than me, the sight of the rails of denim in TKMaxx makes me feel dizzy! I have to be in the right frame of mind to go in there!

I've just bought the gap straight jeans in black as they have 10% elastane.

I have some m&s per una 'Roma' straight leg jeans that are really comfy and flattering.

I like Gap too, especially their Curvy Straight ones. AND they come in different leg lengths which is the problem I find with TK Maxx as all their jeans tend to be 36" leg

Haha - it's a task I would only undertake without children. I always find that I have to give myself 10 mins in TK Maxx before I start to find anything I like. Up until that point all I can see is chaos. It also helps if you are looking for a specific type of item like jeans otherwise I just bob about getting distracted.

Just found the jeans whilst doing the laundry. They are: Hilfiger Denim Ruby Straight.
