She is currently trying on Towie style outfits that are just.... grim.

But there is no getting away from her enormous bosom. 34E. And the rest of her isn't skinny.

What to do, what to do?

(wedding's on Friday btw, so no time for mail order)

any good?

FauxFox · 12/09/2012 13:32

That is lovely secret

BeauNeidel · 12/09/2012 13:51

That dress is so pretty, and just right for a 13 year old!

I was hugely busty at that age as well, it's not easy to dress not-too-tarty when you have massive norkage!

StatisticallyChallenged · 12/09/2012 13:56

somewhere like ASOS has lots of skater style dresses that are quite flattering if you are not too slim and don't want to show off norks. They do next day delivery too.

this?

Startailoforangeandgold · 12/09/2012 14:12

Anything so long as its not too short and tight.

Sorry been to various school concerts and prize givings lately and some of the teens idea of smart is awful.

I don't why, short school skirts don't bother me, but similar length tight smart dresses do.

PlumSykes · 12/09/2012 14:20

Those Monsoon dresses are lovely, really age-appropriate too.

Shagmundfreud · 12/09/2012 16:14

Oh for the love of god, she's found a dress like this (she's out shopping alone) here except it's all dark blue, with a spray of sequins at the waist and stops six inches above the knee.

She's refusing to go to the wedding unless I let her buy it.

Secret that is lovely!

DevaDiva · 12/09/2012 16:24

She's thirteen not thirty! Dreading the teen years have you shown her any of the nice dresses?

PlumSykes · 12/09/2012 16:42

Oh God! Teenagers scare me.

BeauNeidel · 12/09/2012 18:54

Hmmm...call her bluff then and tell her she'll have to stay home with a babysitter as she is NOT having that!

goingmadinthecountry · 12/09/2012 20:44

Say no. I have 3 teenagers. I'm harxh, and would say she'd look like a cheap tramp and no way could she go out with me, pointing out that she'll hate the photos in years to come. In fsct, have said similar and my children don't hate me. It's hard, I know, to be that size at her age but lots of the dresses linked to would look much nicer.

KatieMorag · 12/09/2012 20:54

At soem point you need to drag her to bravissimo to get a decent bra in her correct size. If she really was a 34E she wouldnt look "enormous" ,unless she was very skinny otherwise. She probably needs a smaller back size and larger cup, it will give her better support and she will look slimmer and be more comfortable

Good luck with the dress thing. I have a 12 yo DD and I know this will be me soon .....
